What is this website about?

This website provides travelers and non-travelers alike a glimpse into the world of other cultures, languages, and people in places many will not have the opportunity, or desire, to ever step foot in.  It serves to motivate the mind and soul to take the leap and hit the road.  If nothing else, you can print the articles off and read them in the loo.

What happened to the $5.00 I was promised if I logged onto this site?

Where is BPA right now?

Backpacker Acker is currently in Denver, Colorado working in education.  The road and epic trips are in the very near future.

Why travel?

Travel to open your mind and your heart.  Learn about other cultures different than your own, you will appreciate them more after having done so.
